THE MYSTERIOUS LURE OF 3RD AVE

The multi-purpose facility
What is it about 3rd Avenue that makes it such a wonderful place? The center of Seattle's bus system, 3rd Ave has much to offer, and proves very popular.
If you are bored of the nice, warm, fuzzier sections of downtown, go to 3rd Ave! Located just east of the Great wall of Gum, 3rd Ave is equipped with a wide array of nearby sites: the King County Administration Building, renowned worldwide, including by the Seattle Design Commissioners, as “an atrocity,” “unusually hideous” and “the ugliest governmental center in any city in the country", and then there are a variety of furniture stores, post offices and such, and for those with varying tastes, Madame Lazonga's Tattoo Parlor, and Bertram's Hookah Lounge.

[The] star of this show, amidst this urban conglomeration of tobacco smoke, crazy drunk people jaywalking and (office buildings?), is  the bus system. The buses are large, crowded vehicles with diesel engines of high decibel ratings. A combination of cigarettes, mildew, and urine work together to create a pungent odor, making a ride on the bus a multi-sensory experience.
Reminders of the vanishing greatness of America's industrial past
Board any bus for an adventure. Do you want to visit Los Angeles? Look no further! Hop on a 21 to go to Seattle's industrial district, where you can see plenty of world-class smog. Also, many beautiful industrial facilities on par with Chrome, New Jersey reside in this area: abandoned, falling apart buildings, poignant reminders of the vanishing greatness of America's industrial past. Get on a 3 or 4, to see some very colorful, outspoken people with their passionate, expressive ramblings. Do you want to visit San Francisco? Board a 43 or 49 to see plenty of densely populated streets, that also have a notably higher gay population. Or you could board the mobile port-a-potty, bar, smoking lounge, insane asylum, trash can, toxic waste dump, and meth lab, that is known as the 358. The possibilities are endless...
